Title 78- Contrôle d’un robot à l’aide du logiciel SVGNav (projet WINS)

L’objet de ce stage est permettre la commande d’un robot à l’aide d’une interface web développée au laboratoire LACIME. Dans le cadre du projet WINS (Wireless Indoor Navigation System), nous avons mis au point un système de localisation centimétrique à l’aide des signaux WiFi de la technologie IEEE 802.11. Un logiciel WEB écrit en PHP et Java Script nommé SVGNav permet de définir une trajectoire (mission) pour un robot sur un plan représentant l’édifice en question. Cette mission qui est un ensemble de coordonnées, et ensuite transmise au robot par un lien sans fil WiFi. L’objectif est de poursuivre le développement sur un nouveau robot de la compagnie ACTIVE (http://www.activrobots.com/). Le but de ces travaux est d’accroître le positionnement centimétrique d’une navigation intérieur dynamique et d’analyser les performances des algorithmes d’amélioration du système de navigation développés au laboratoire par l’équipe de recherche. Le stage se déroulera comme suit : 1) Recherches bibliographiques 2) Lecture de la documentation disponible au laboratoire 3) Fonctionement sur le robot actuel et adaptation pour le nouveau robot Active 4) Compilation de scénarios réels de navigation intérieur 5) Ajustement de la procédure et analyse des résultats 6) Étude comparative et analyse des performances obtenues en scénarios simulés. Un rapport de stage sera produit tout au long des travaux. Ce stage sera très formateur et utile pour un ingénieur intéressé par le domain des télécommunications sans fil. Notions et connaissances minimales requises : - en télécommunication sans fil, - en traitement du signal numérique. Ce stage d’une durée idéale de 6 mois. Un étudiant de maitrise sera en mesure de lui apporter une supervision constante ainsi que le professeur responsable du stage par le bias de rencontres périodiques. L’ensemble des travaux et la mise en euuvre du simulateur seront effectués au laboratoire LACIME à l’intérieur d’une équipe d’ingénieurs de R&D.
