120- Robustness Analysis of Hybrid GNSS Signals in Presence of Atmospheric Perturbations

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CANDIDATE : The main objective of this 6 month internship will be to analyze the influence of atmospheric perturbations on hybrid GPS/Galileo signals. The work will start with a thorough study of the various GPS/Galileo signals as well as of various troposphere and ionosphere models considered in the GNSS signal simulator. Few tests will be done in simulation and in real time on the influence of the various perturbation models on each signal considered in the signal simulator. The performances obtained in simulation and in real time will also be compared. New perturbation models may be proposed, implemented and tested. The intern student will also support the other members of the research team by means of real-time experiments or whenever his help would be needed. He will also work on data formatting necessary for signal processing and for a better coherence between simulation and real-time tests.
