133- Post flight test analysis, automatic report generation and next mission plan

The student will incorporate to the Lab to take over the lead of W15-FTM (winter 2015 flight test mission) and plan the upcoming S16-FTM (winter 2016). Both missions are framed in a state-of-the-art avionics development project. In this internship, the student will learn how to design and plan flight tests, develop test requirements, and carry out post-test analysis. The student will study the collected data resulting from W15-FTM, and summarize the results. The student will design and develop a common framework for the automatic generation of results reports. Based on the analysis of the results, the student will detect possible flaws, technical challenges and propose improvements to the current avionics. This internship will provide the student with the opportunity to plan following missions and validate the effectiveness of the conceived improvements.
