The 3rd trainee student will be in charge of the following tasks:
1) 3-25 (WBR) Acquisition of general background of WBR
2) 3-34 Assist with the testing of the WBR function (ADS-B)
3) 4-34 Estimation of increased reliability benefits from SDA integration
4) 4-35 Estimation of Maintainability benefits
The objective of this research project is to simulate the duty cycles of the various SDAs such that higher level team members will be able to determine to what extent functional degradation occurs to the various SDAs. The student will also be in charge of the ADS-B performance from the SDA with the presence or not of the DME and Transponder. Few bench and flight test results analysis will be performed by the student in collaboration with the research team.
